This warming quinoa flake porridge is a gentle, nourishing way to start your day.
Rich in protein, fibre, and slow-releasing carbohydrates, it helps support stable energy, balanced blood sugar, and sustained satiety — all key foundations for hormonal health, gut function, and mood regulation.
Unlike heavier breakfast options, quinoa flakes are light, easy to digest, and naturally gluten-free, making this meal particularly supportive for sensitive digestion.

INGREDIENTS (1 serve)
• ¼ cup quinoa flakes
• ⅛ teaspoon ground cinnamon
• 1 scoop Nuzest Protein Powder
• ¾ cup almond milk
• ½ cup water
• Maple syrup (optional)
TOPPINGS
• ½ tablespoon crushed walnuts
• 1 teaspoon almond butter
• Cinnamon
METHOD
Add quinoa flakes, cinnamon, almond milk, and water to a small saucepan.
Cook over moderate heat, stirring gently. The porridge should begin to bubble and thicken within 1–2 minutes.
Once slightly thickened, reduce heat and stir through the protein powder until well combined.
Cook for another 1–2 minutes until your desired consistency is reached. Add a little extra liquid (water or almond milk) if needed.
Remove from heat and top with walnuts, almond butter, cinnamon, and maple syrup if desired.
